Hey, is that your old house? I was staying up in Lakeside for a few weeks so I probably passed you on the road! Lol. Looks like you had a good time!

Yes, that is our old house. We were there for about twenty seconds. :) But we did stop at the lake for a few minutes. It would have been fun to see you!!

What are your thoughts?
1st Corinthians 11: 14 "Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?"

Just curious because I noticed that Jessie has long hair. Have you always been okay with that or?

Thanks for being so gracious, even though you disagree with my husband's appearance. You didn't need to be afraid to post your real name.

I accept my husband for everything he is. I do not wish to enter an biblical argument/debate but if you would like to have a discussion, I will consider it.

Thanks again for your graciousness.

That's great that you are so supportive of your husband and love him for who he is- what a great wife you are! More men need wives who are 100% loving, supportive and will help their men become mighty men of God! I pray that God will give you daily strength to help your husband in any way you can.

I suppose I should address him directly as his brother in Christ with my concerns for the Holy Word of God and its teachings and where your husband stands on the "hair issue". It is a New testament teaching and no scripture is void of teaching. (2 Timothy 3:16)
That is, I am assuming that your husband claims Christ as His Savior and is striving to be a man of God?

Blessings,
Josiah

Josiah, that is my prayer as well. I see the great godliness in my husband. He never asks for my respect or love, yet I am compelled and inspired by his example.

Admittedly, I didn't understand the hair when we first met. But it didn't take me very long to realize that Jesse is the best man I have ever met. His complete acceptance of others, his great discretion, his unfailing love, etc., etc., all lead up to his never ending search of Truth. I have never met anyone else who emulated the teachings of our Savior so completely.

The hair is not a sin, according to the Bible and his hair is his preference. I accept that it is part of him and because I love him, I love his hair too. :)

Thank you for your kind words. I did talk about this to my husband from your first comment. He is not offended (nor am I) by your concern and we thank you for your graciousness, once again.
