A Post of the Tired Mind

I was just sitting here, thinking about how tired I am. Two of my students transfered their lessons to Thursday so I have an hour to sit and relax. And I think I need it. My only wish is that Jesse were home from work. Soon, though. :-)

I am thankful I have something to be tired from. And of course,

If you must have motivation, think of your pay check on Friday. -- Noel Coward

(My inspirational quote of the day.)

Here's another one:

We can only learn to love by loving. -- Iris Murdoch

Btw, if you hadn't noticed already, my sister Hannah is getting married on June 2nd. It's going to be a red letter day!

"Driving Legally" and "Insanity Isn't Always a Negative"

Tomorrow morning, I'm scheduled to write my Learner's Test at the courthouse in Carlyle. :-) Talk about a mixture of emotions. :-) :-) I've been studying. People have been encouraging me.

I am learning about not thinking negatively. I am learning about not worrying. I am learning about God's love. I am learning about legally driving in Canada. ;-)

Perhaps I will have a chance to write more about my life in a little while. It's been an insane two plus weeks. A good insane. ;-)

Victory!

At long last! Log cakes and I are friends. They actually look nice. I knew it was only a matter of time before they decided I was a nice person.

I'm really happy and really tired.

But I am looking forward to the concert tonight. A whole whack of folks I know are going... should be fun.

My hands smell like ice-cream and chocolate. Seriously... the best job in the world for me. :-D

From the Queen of Randomness

I made one of my students giggle uncontrollably today.

This evening, I got to visit with one of my favorite peoples -- Kristy Wempe.

Tomorrow is show time. Just a little nervous.

Phoned my mother. She has a cough. :-(

I've had three students commit for piano lessons until the end of May. This makes me very happy!

Some people are so inspiring. You ache for them but you cheer as they walk on... with a smile.

I hope that I will be done with my braces the end of the year.

Monday I begin my new job at the local DQ. Details later.

Just found out some friends are expecting their first child in May. Talk about excited!

The first step in the acquisition of wisdom is silence, the second listening, the third memory, the fourth practice, the fifth teaching others. -- Solomon Ibn Gabriol

Did you know that all the struggles, the uncertainties and learning to trust when all seems hopeless is good for us? Recently I've come to realize anew how much God loves me. :-) It never gets old.

And on the topic of what is good for me... I have some of the most wonderful people in my life.

I made cheese bread for supper this evening.

Did you know put on British accents can change into just about anything? It's hysterical...

My bed calls me. Lol.
