Trip 2012 -- Oregon and California

Chet and MaryPat got a new kitten the day we arrived at their house.

They named him Tuck. He is so adorable.

Hot air balloons in the early morning Oregon sky.

Ocean!!

We stopped at the Redwood Forest and walked some of the trails. This here is Paul Bunyan and his blue ox, Babe. :-)

These fushcia plants were gorgeous and huge. They were more like little trees than bushes; some were way over 6 ft. in height.

The highlight of the day was definitely meeting my friend Jaclynn and her beloved, Keith. Good friends meet face to face!

I've got a very similar ocean pic! There is nothing more amazing and breathtaking than getting your first clear view of the ocean.

Last time we went to CA we stopped at the Trees of Mystery place too! Is Paul still talking? lol. We took the gondola up the Sky Trail. There wasn't much of a view toward the ocean since the fog was thick.

So glad you and Jaclynn got to meet!!

Enjoying all the pics you are posting. Keep having an awesome time! ;)

I think the ocean is amazing! Can't wait to see more of it. Did you ever get to dip your feet?

Paul is still talking. Some of the stuff he would say to kids was hilarious. They would ask him silly questions and he would reply back in his serious voice, but joking all the same. ;) I did enjoy it when he started talking about bullies and how that is NOT how we treat fellow human beings.

We didn't take the gondola because of time constraints but we did walk the trails. Maybe next time... I'm glad we did it. Isn't it amazing?

Yes, Jaclynn and Keith were so nice and fun. They have real hearts for God. It is nice to see that. I can see a friendship springing up and lasting for a long while. :)

I'm so glad your trip is going well and you are getting to see so much of the beauty God created along the coast too, aren't the Redwoods amazing?!
Meeting you and Jesse, you two are so sweet, and I feel so blessed to be able to meet. I haven't stopped thinking of you since. :)

It's always neat to meet up with friends!
Jaclynn is in her mid twenties, isn't she? If you don't mind my asking, how old is her beloved? I was just curious because there seems to be a bit of difference in their ages but maybe I'm wrong. :)

J.C.R... Jesse and I haven't stopped thinking about you guys either. It was so much fun to finally meet you! Happiness.

M.W... I assume that you know Jaclynn, so you can ask her your questions yourself. :) You'd probably get more reliable answers from her!!
